Rebuttal: Exactly! We are not asking you to be interested or to make any kind of MAJOR decision as of now. First of all you see and evaluate the quality of our work, see its impact on your business and then only come up with a wise decision. There is NO DESIGNING COST as of now and you are under NO OBLIGATION. Okay? (Importance of having a website can be used) (Again if they are not interested ask questions: Is that because you had a bad experience having a website?)

2.        I am busy. Call me later.

Rebuttal 1: I am really sorry that I called you at your bad time. But if you could just give me few minutes of your precious time I would really appreciate.

3.        Send me an email.

Rebuttal: All right so what would be your email address? (Note down the email address, name). Certainly! We can send you an email but what we will send you in your email would be the same as I am explaining it to you and there will be no two way communication. If you will have any queries regarding our offer there will be no one to solve it. It would be more effective if I explain you each and everything right way in detail.

4.        I already have a website

Rebuttal: It’s really good to know that you know the importance of having a website. So, since how long are you having your website? Have you ever re-designed it or not?

I am going through your website. As I can see it’s quite informative. It has got lots of good picture and lots of information. But I think the color combination could be much better, fonts could be much more highlighted, I can see some blank spaces which we can utilize, I can’t see flash banner in your website. We can put flash banner in your site so that it will look attractive and professional, we can put Hit Counter in your website so that you can keep track records of the customers that how many customers have visited your website, we can put Dynamic Google Map which will help your customer to know the exact location of your business. ETC… We can come up with far more better professional and elegant website than your existing one. So first see our design there will be no designing costs as of now and compare with your existing website, see the quality of our work as our design meets the latest web standard and then come up with a wise decision. 5.        I am in process of making a website

Rebuttal: It is really good to know that you are in process of making a website. But why don’t you keep your options open, you will never know which website will be better for your business type. We are professional web designing company, we have been dealing with our customers since a year and we specialize in professional and custom made website as per your needs and requirements. As you are not making any kind of major decision so see our design evaluate it compare and then decide which one is better. There is no designing cost as of now and you are under no obligation. 6.        I don’t want to change my website

Rebuttal: we are not asking you to change your current website. Let me tell you everybody is satisfied with whatever they have got until and unless you see new things you will never know what works for your business and what not. And you are not making any major decision as of now, we just want you to look at our work that meets the latest web standard, see it, evaluate it, and compare with your existing once then come up with a wise decision. We can come up with far more better design than your existing one. Okay?

7.        Why don’t you send my sample design in my email?

Rebuttal: Sir/Ma’am, we are talking about real, live, up and running website not any template or image design. We are hosting your website free for one month. We want you to see and evaluate the impact of our website, you can ask for number of changes in the design till the time you are not satisfied. Okay?

8.        The charges are too high

Rebuttal: We are offering you a qualitative design in quite competitive price than other companies. The charges are true value for the money you will invest on and as of now you don’t have to worry about the designing costs because the designing costs are not applicable till the time you approve the design. You are under no obligation and there is no contract. (Explain features and benefits with the charges they are getting) Okay?

9.        There is one of my friends making a website for me for free

Rebuttal: It’s really good to know that your friend is making a website for your business for free. But being a wise business man you should know to differentiate between the thing that you get for free and something you invest on. And what if there is any technical problem in your website or you need any urgent changes in your website your friend may not be there to help you out. He would be busy with his own properties.

10.     From where did you get my number?

Rebuttal: Actually we have our own research department who did research in your area and we came to know that you business has got potential to grow and expand, that’s the reason we are calling you.

11.     Is it free?

Rebuttal: As if now it looks like free but to get started with the work, you need to setup an account with our company that will cost you $30 on today’s date.

12.     Are you calling me from overseas? / Why is my caller id showing unknown number? / Why is my caller id showing zero?

Rebuttal: No Sir/Ma’am, I am not calling you from overseas. The fact is that I have been calling you from internet phone so that’s the reason your caller id is showing unknown number/zero. But, in case you want my direct line I can provide you with that.

13.     The owner is busy/unavailable

Rebuttal: In that case, can I talk to someone who is responsible to take business decisions? / How about the manager? / Who is the next person in-charge to take your business decision?

14.     I already have a lot of customers.

Rebuttal: I am glad to know that you have lots of customers but, let me tell you that the customers that you have are already your customers. Now, what the website would do for your business is it helps to let the other customers searching business like yours around the globe know about your business. Website helps promote your business and let the customers know everything they want to know about your business and create transaction with your business at the same time, helping to generate more income.

15.     I advertise on TV/Hoardings/Yellow Pages/ Radio

Rebuttal: It’s great that you are doing TV/Hoardings/Yellow Pages/ Radio advertisements. But, what I want you to understand is the amount that you will be paying for such advertisements are eventually lot higher than what you would invest for developing a website. Likewise, such advertisements aren’t as convenient to the customer as a website is. What we are talking right now is promoting your business and getting more new customers at a really less investment. Also, the contents of advertisement that you do in other advertisement media are very limited, so to know in detail your customer either needs to meet you or call you. Whereas with the help of website, your customers can know each and everything about your business in detail and then decide whether they want to do business with you or not in a very short phase of time.

16.     I don’t have a computer.

Rebuttal: That won’t be a problem sir/ma’am because website is for your customers & I hope you understand that 85% of the population have access to internet. So, they can check-in internet any time they want and get all the information they need without any problem.

17.     What I’m doing just works fine

Rebuttal: Great to hear that, but I can assure you that having a website with us will make things a lot easier than what you would have imagined. It represents your business 24x7 irrespective of what time your business opens and what time it closes. A website will help you avoid spending time to answer general & simple queries about your business. You can also cut your staff that looks after answering calls for general as your website will be giving all the relevant information regarding your business to the customers. It will help you save both time and money which you can invest in some other activities and manage a time out for yourself too.

18.     I don’t do business over the phone.

Rebuttal: That’s exactly what we don’t want you to do. Therefore, we are offering you a website. If you get a website for your business then, it will help promote your business online and your customers can get all the details regarding your business in it. It will help solve each and every customer queries and avoid you from spending time over the phone.

19.     I need to talk to my partner

Rebuttal: No problem sir/ma’am, that’s why we are giving you ample time to see & evaluate our work & analyze if it’s really doing good for your business or not. We are asking you to buy the website right now but, what we are asking you to do is just register a domain name as for now, evaluate our website and give your valuable decision. Until and unless you are not satisfied with the design you can ask for unlimited changes. Even after unlimited changes, if you don’t get satisfied with the work then you can keep your domain name and decline the offer.

20.     How will the customers come to know about my website?

Rebuttal: Sir/ma’am, promotion of your website will be taken care by the process of Search Engine Optimization. We will be posting or circulating your website to all major search engines like GOOGLE, Bing, YAHOO, MSN, ALTA, VISTA etc. on a regular basis so that they can display your website on the top pages of the search results with the relevant keyword. You can also tell your regular customers about your website & out it on cards, flyers to let everyone know about your website.

21.     I don’t want to spend time/ money

Rebuttal: I understand that Sir/Ma’am but, the website will be helping you to reach a massive number of customers & it will be available for them anytime they desire. You will also be getting to learn more about what your customers’ demands & needs are. All of that will be coming to you at a nominal cost that gives you immense return 24x7. Your few minutes will help to build your professional website for your business. It will ultimately relieve you from calls about general queries about your business & save your hours on a daily basis which you can better utilize.
